Abstract

Procédé perfectionné de blanchiment de matière fibreuse cellulosique telle que pâte de bois. Selon le procédé, on fait le blanchiment en suspension aqueuse, en plusieurs étapes, au moyen de dioxyde du chlore et de chlore, le dioxyde de chlore représentant 20 à 95 % de chlore disponible total utilisé. Apres une première étape, où l'on utilise une solution aqueuse de dioxyde de chlore contenant ou non en outre du chlore, on soumet la suspension, qui contient de la matière organique dissoute, par exemple au taux de 3,5 à 6,5 % en poids, à une seconde étape de blanchiment avec du chlore, sans lavage entre les deux étapes de blanchiment. Application à l'industrie de la pâte à papier.
