Abstract

La machine à creuser et à curer les fossés comporte une fraise à axe de rotation transversal montée dans une carosserie comprenant un soc transversal derrière la fraise et un tapis transporteur de la terre arrachée par la fraise, la carosserie de la fraise étant portée par un tracteur au moyen d'un dispositif à flèche transversale. L'arête du soc est légèrement plus haute que le point le plus bas de la fraise et les tôles de la carosserie sont à l'intérieur du trapèze défini par la fraise. Le dispositif à flèche transversale se compose de deux systèmes à parallélogrammes articulés, couplés par une genouillère triangulaire. Les parallélogrammes sont déformables à l'aide de vérins. Au repos l'ensemble replié de la machine entre dans le gabarit routier du tracteur.
