Abstract

The trailer is particularly in the form of a caravan, its forward end being of aerodynamic shape. The outside of the forward end slopes upwards and to the rear from the bottom, and is convex when seen in horizontal section. Over part at least of its width this outside surface can be formed by a single curve, typically the parts adjacent to the trailer sides. The rear end can also be of aerodynamic shape, with its outside surface convex when seen in horizontal section. The roof can be of aerodynamic shape and convex in vertical section, with a single central rib acting as a stabiliser.
