Abstract

Procédé de fabrication d'un boyau pour cycles, selon le brevet principal, qui consiste à déposer dans une carcasse classique, avant vulcanisation, soit une feuille calandrée en mélange de caoutchouc imperméable et vulcanisable, soit une couche d'un tel mélange appliqué sous forme de dissolution ou de latex, caractérisé en ce que cette carcasse, portant la bande de roulement, est ensuite vulcanisée à plat, sur un tambour chauffant, sous la pression d'une membrane, en ce que, après cette vulcanisation, on rapproche les deux bords de la carcasse et on les réunit de façon étanche par soudure et en ce que l'on monte ensemble sur un tambour chauffant sur lequel on applique fortement la soudure reliant les deux bords de la carcasse afin de vulcaniser cette soudure.
