Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'oxycoupage de pièces de métal tel que de l'acier doux, à l'aide d'un chalumeau à découper alimenté par trois débits gazeux, à savoir : un débit de gaz combustible, un débit d'oxygene de chauffe et un débit d'oxygène de coupe. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que, au débit du gaz combustible pouvant être constitué principalement de propane, on ajoute un additif constitué d'un peroxyde organique et d'un mélange liquide d'hydrocarbures apte à tenir en solution les constituants de l'additif. Application au découpage au chalumeau de pièces de métal de toutes épaisseurs.
