Abstract

The appts. is used for rehabilitating the finger and comprises a terminal piece (6) fitting over the end of the relevant finger (2). Another piece (5,4) fits over each separatephalange and a larger terminal piece (3) fits over the back or palm of the hand (1). Each piece is secured by strapping (9,10,11,12) and is saddle-shaped, the raised sides having, alternately, a hole (34,44,54,64) and a notch (45,55). An elasticated cord (7) passes through the holes and the lies in the notches, each end of the cord is tied at the terminal end pieces.
