Abstract

The hub has an inner element (4) which can slide in an outer element (5). Element (4) has a hexagonal opening (6a) at its inner end for connection to an output drive shaft. Outer element (5) has a flange (10) and studs (11) for moutning of a wheel. Element (4) has a number of annular grooves (8a, 8b), alternate grooves (8a) being fitted with stops (9). Holes (12a, 12b) in element (5) intersect the bore in which element (4) slides and are spaced at the same distance as adjacent grooves. Elements (4, 5) enable the track width to be adjusted and locked by pin (13) so the wheel is driven or free to rotate.
