Abstract

a. L'invention concerne un ventilateur radial comportant une roue entraînée, de préférence par un moteur, et qui tourne dans un boîtier en spirale, dont la paroi se rapproche en forme de spirale du contour du cylindre balayé par la roue et se continue par une languette délimitant la sortie du ventilateur radiaL b. Ce ventilateur est caractérisé en ce que l'endroit le plus étroit situé entre la paroi du boîtier en spirale et le contour du cylindre balayé par la roue, vu dans le sens de la rotation de cette roue, se situe à l'arrière de la pointe, conformée notamment en segment cylindrique circulaire de la languette. c. L'invention est applicable notamment aux installations de chauffage et de ventilation de véhicules automobiles.
