Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de refroidissement de gaz de réactions soumis à une pression et à une température élevées dans lequel la chaleur est utilisée à la production de vapeur surcomprimée selon le principe de la circulation naturelle, le processus de refroidissement s'effectuant par un système de tubes en U suspendus dans un récipient vertical, le réfrigérant étant transformé en vapeur surcomprimée pendant ledit processus et introduit sous phase liquide dans ledit système de tubes jusqu'au voisinage immédiat du point le plus bas du système de circulation naturelle, sans absorber de chaleur.
