Abstract
La présente invention a pour objet un procédé pour la séparation de suspensions de substances gazéiformes et de matériaux en particules solides finement divisées et à un appareillage pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé. Ce procédé de séparation d'une suspension de catalyseur et de matériaux gazéiformes passée à travers une zone de contact accélérée ou accélérateur comprend la création d'un moment centrifuge horizontal de séparation appliqué à la suspension juste au-dessous et d'une manière adjacente à la partie ouverte de l'accélérateur, ce moment étant suffisant pour que le catalyseur en ascension s'accumule sur la paroi de l'accélérateur avant que se produise l'éjection des particules de catalyseur ainsi séparées, en contact avec un gaz d'extraction introduit tangentiellement dans une zone annulaire située au-dessus de l'accélérateur et présentant un plus grand diamètre que lui Elle se rapporte aux réactions employant des catalyseurs.
