Abstract

Le clapet comprend un corps et un élément mobile de fermeture entre lesquels est disposé un dispositif d'étanchéité. Le dispositif est formé par un joint élastique logé dans une rainure 52 présentant une ouverture 62, 64 relativement étroite qui forme épaulements 60, 66. Le joint a une partie étroite 76 qui passe au travers de l'ouverture, un corps plus large propre à coopérer avec les épaulements et des lèvres flexibles 78, 80 propres à coopérer avec les épaulements et des lèvres flexibles 78, 80 propres à coopérer avec la partie interne de la rainure. Le clapet comprend aussi une manche métallique en porte-à-faux solidaire de la partie mobile, propre à assurer une étanchéité avec la partie fixe quand le clapet est soumis à des températures élevées, par dilatation du métal qui la compose. L'étanchéité se maintient quand la température du clapet redescend, la déformation de la manche par dilatation thermique se faisant au-delà de sa limite élastique. Application aux clapets d'isolement anti-feu sur des conduites.
