Abstract

The fuel tank of a moped has a security cover (13) hinged near the top of the tank and covering the tank filler and the stop cock control (7) through which the fuel flow to the engine is stopped. The cover is locked by locking the steering forks, so that an extension (3) of the forks sits over the cover. The cover is not able to swing up while the forks are locked. This allows the rider to secure the vehicle with only one key, in a minimum of time.
