Abstract

The medical examination device is for use at external points on the body, by measuring the current flowing through them. It has a bar-type probe connected to a battery etc., and an impedance measuring unit for the electrical resistance of one or more skin sections, dependent on the current flowing through the body. A time limitation circuit is electrically connected to this unit. This ensures that the latter is only excited once per measurement and only in dependence on a control or measuring signal, delivered from the unit's circuit to the limitation circuit. The device is esp. for examining the ear.
