Abstract

L'invention concerne la séparation des particules de plomb des gaz d'échappement. Les particules polluantes, notamment de plomb, sont retirées des gaz d'échappement d'un moteur par circulation des gaz successivement dans trois chambres alignées, la première et la troisième contenant une matière de garnissage formée de toile métallique ou de métal déployé alors que la seconde chambre est divisée par une cloison qui dévie les gaz partiellement épurés vers le bas et provoque le dépôt de particules au fond de la seconde chambre. Application à l'épuration des gaz d'échappement des moteurs à combustion interne.
