Abstract

L'invention a trait à des perfectionnements apportés aux filtres-presses. Elle a pour objet un filtre-presse comportant un ensemble de rouleaux filtrants creux, cylindriques, parallèles, possédant une surface cylindrique perforée, et une courroie de pression non perforée, sans fin, entraînée autour d'une partie de la périphérie de la surface cylindrique de chacun des rouleaux filtrants. Les rouleaux filtrants sont groupés en deux rangées côte à côte de rouleaux, superposées, les rouleaux dans les deux rangées ayant un sens opposé de rotation, et les deux côtés de la courroie de pression sont utilisés pour exercer une pression sur la surface cylindrique. Application : notamment à la filtration de pulpe de pommes de terre, de betteraves sucrières ou de racines de manioc
