Abstract

The pan lid (1) can be locked pressure-tightly with the bottom pan (2). To increase the operational safety, the pan lid (1) can only be fitted onto the bottom pan (2) from the side. As a result, in the closed state the lid (1) is supported by the bottom pan (2) virtually over the entire periphery. If the pan is not closed completely, as a substantial safety requirement no internal pressure can build up. In the case of inappropriate opening of the pan, the lid (1) cannot be flung off.
