Abstract

Large thermoplastics tank for liqs. has 2 adjacent, pref. identical, zones which are defined by constrictions at at least 2 opposite walls and whose cavities (sic) are connected with each other at least near the bottom of the tank. Each zone has (approx.) circular cross-section over at least part of its circumference. The zones extend from the bottom of the tank over (almost) the entire height of the tank. The claimed design renders the tank resistant to deformation by the hydrostatic pressure of its contents so that tank of up to 5m3 capacity may be safely used to full load.
