Abstract

The thermal output of a central heating system is monitored by probe groups. Each room has an installed probe group comprising a measuring probe secured to the radiator and a reference probe mounted in the room wall remote from the radiator. All the probe groups are connected to a voltage-frequency converter so that the signal voltages (V) of the probe groups are welded onto the converter, which controls a counting device. A sawtooth wave signal is produced over a period of time (t).
