Abstract
The dust collection and extraction system particularly for industrial premises has a series of collector points such as machines, conveyors, storage positions etc. connected by individual collector ducts to an intermediate connection point. More than one connection point can be connected by main ducts to a central extraction unit with an extraction fan. The main ducts are larger than the individual ducts. The central unit has a greater capacity than any of the intermediate points, but less than their total capacity. The intermediate collectors, the main ducts and the central unit have an excess capacity to allow for later additions. The individual ducts may have flaps to control the quantity of dust conveyed.
