Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the using efficiency of the transmission line for the system in which the vertical connection is given between plural line collectors which are then connected to the master station's unit by securing the connection between the line collectors via no master station unit. CONSTITUTION:Channel allotting memory 26, whose address is corresponding to the channel number, memorizes the subscriber number as the data. Connection state C, that is, C=1 and C=0 in the case of the connection between line collectors and the connection via the master station respectively, is memorized in the right edge part of memory 26. In case line collector 2 is connected to its lower-rank unit, gate 28 and 29 open their lower-rank gates because of C=1. As a result, circuit 21 which multiplies the transmission circuit by the subscriber line is connected to the lower-rank unit via gate 29 and down-line D; and circuit 22 which distributes the signals to the subscrier line through the transmission line is connected to the lower- rank unit via gate 28, buffer memory 24 and up-line U respectively.
