Abstract

The machine is used for hot marking articles and comprises guide rods for the marking head. This head includes the marking die and the heater, the unit being direct coupled to an air cylinder. The article to be marked is arranged on a mandrel, on a slide under the marking head. This slide moves upwards, a gear on the mandrel engaging a rack on the marker head. As this latter moves across, it rotates the article by direct drive and also the marking film interposed between head and article.
