Abstract

The head (11) of the panels is bolted to ferrules previously embedded in the substructural floors (P). The panel base has a lip(12) overlapping the head (11) of the panel below, the anchor bolts(40) passing through this lip. The panel may be of precast lightweight concrete (30) with a complementary insulating material (17) lining the inner face. The anchor bolt may be in two sections (40, 52) joined by a coupling nut (51), and may pass through sleeves (21, 33) previously embedded in the panels. The coupling nut (51) serves to fix the head of the lower panel and to receive the bolt(52) fixing the foot of the panel above.
