Abstract

Animal feedstuffs are prepared by mixing >=1 substance, having a high water content and associated with a gelling agent, with a nutritive material under the form of a paste, powder or fine solid. The substance having a high water content is pref. a by-prod. of the food industry, such as lactoserum or blood. The gelling agent is typically gelatine, an alginate or lactic ferment. The feedstuffs are cheap to prepare, stable and homogeneous.
