Abstract

The sheet, of cardboard, corrugated paper or other similar material, is for a rectangular package, and comprises a row of rectangular side panels separated by transverse fold lines. One of the end panels has an anchoring strip joined to it along a fold line and by which it is secured to the other end panel. Near one end of the anchoring strip (32) it is interrupted by a slot (28) so as to form a locking lug (29), while the opposite end panel (12) has a notch (35) for engagement by this lug. One of the edges (31) of the slot can be bevelled.
