Abstract

La plaque d'ostéosynthèse pour fracture de l'extrémité inférieure du tibia a la forme générale d'une cuiller avec une partie longitudinale de section courbe et terminée à une extrémité par une palette élargie et galbée longitudinalement et transversalement pour s'adapter à l'épiphyse inférieure du tibia sur sa face interne Les deux parties de la plaque sont percées de multiples trous disposés en quinconce sur la partie longitudinale et en triangle au niveau de la palette élargie qui comporte une encoche pour permettre le passage d'une vis supplémentaire en dehors de la plaque et dans la pointe de la malléole interne. La partie longitudinale est cintrée, courbée et chantournée à la demande à l'aide d'une cintreuse spirale. L'invention comporte également un davier à deux hanches articulées et à trois mors pointus permettant la compression du foyer par son application sur la palette et sur la pointe de la malléole interne qui est bituberculeuse. La plaque est épaisse et résistante dans sa partie médiane, amincie et flexible aux extrémités et le long des bords.
