Abstract

Ce système de modulation PAM-PPM convient pour la modulation-démodulation de signaux numériques. Le signal binaire à transmettre est codé d'après un code qui utilise trois formes d'ondes obtenues en modulant, en amplitude et en position PAM-PPM, les impulsions d'un signal lumineux, ce codage étant tel que les huit combinaisons des trois bits du signal binaire correspondent à huit combinaisons de deux formes d'onde et le signal reçu, codé d'après la modulation PAM-PPM, est amené à interagir avec un signal en dents de scie de période T, dûment synchronisé avec le signal reçu; le signal ainsi modifié étant intégré, échantillonné et comparé avec des seuils prédéterminés.
