Abstract
Procédé et dispositif pour soumettre des matières premières céramiques à un traitement d'activation, l'argile brute étant éventuelement séchée au préalable dans un dessicateur 1 et étant, après le traitement d'activation, le cas échéant amenée sur un tamis 6 avant la mise en oeuvre ultérieure. Les matières premières sont soumises à un traitement de comminution et de mélange effectué dans un désintégrateur 5 et au cours duquel un supplément d'énergie est transmis à la matière sous l'action de coups ou chocs intensifs de façon à produire un changement de sa structure fine au sens d'une activation se traduisant par un accroissement de la réactivité et une amélioration de l'uniformité, de la résistance aux changements de température ainsi que des caractéristiques de pnse lors du traitement ultérieur. L'invention est applicable en particulier à des matières premières céramiques ordinaires à base de minéraux argileux.
