Abstract

The machine has a frame for mounting on the three point lift links of a tractor. It has a blade (28) whose cutting edge extends horizontally and perpendicular to the direction of advance of the machine the cutting edge is connected by an inclined part to a trough (27). An auger (23) is carried horizontally in bearings in the trough and connected to a drive from the tractor. Earth raised by blade (28) is fed to the auger by rotating blades (35) and the auger breaks up the earth and feeds it out to the sides.
