Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'écriture et de lecture en relief. Un dispositif selon l'invention comprend des moyens pour fournir des signaux codés, des moyens de traitement de l'information, des moyens de décodage et d'affichage en relief, ces derniers comportant une plaque de lecture munie de perforations au travers desquelles peuvent faire saillie des tiges mues par des lames piezo-électriques bimorphes liées à ces dernières et soumises à une source de tension pouvant prendre deux valeurs distinctes en fonction du signal décodé de manière à provoquer une courbure ou non des lames et obtenir une saillie sélective des tiges. Les moyens de codage, de traitement de l'information et de décodage comprennent une unité arithmétique et logique connectée à un système de mémoire et éventuellement à une interface d'entrée-sortie. L'invention est notamment destinée à constituer un dispositif d'écriture de lecture et d'enregistrement en code Braille pour aveugles.
