Abstract

The system supplies an internal-combustion engine with charge air, or a pressure receiver with compressed air, having an air compressor, a turbo-charge if desired in the intake, and a pressure regulator with a vent for the air when idling. The vent outlet (40) of the regulator (42) is connected by a pipe (43) to the air compressor intake or that of the engine. The design avoids discharge noise, atmospheric pollution by cil and condensate, and watage of power.
