Abstract

The system stores liquid in bottles etc. each of these being placed on a first indexing conveyor and filled during transport by it. The bottle is then transferred to a second conveyor indexing at the same rate and on which it is corked and capped while stationary. When corking and capping are complete it is removed from the second conveyor. All positioning, transfer corking and capping operations can be performed while the bottles are stationary on the conveyors typically by the same distributor mechanism actuated by the conveyor driving motor.
