Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil d'extraction d'une substance radioactive d'un métal fondu. Elle se rapporte à un appareil qui comprend un piège condenseur 2 destiné à séparer une impureté du métal fondu par cristallisation, un ensemble 4 d'adsorption d'une substance radioactive, communiquant avec le piège 2 et contenant une matière adsorbante de surface spécifique d'au moins 10 cm**2/cm**3 destinée à éliminer la substance radioactive, un dispositif 3 de chauffage du métal fondu entre le piège 2 et l'ensemble 4, et un dispositif de réglage de la température du dispositif 3 par mesure des températures du piège 2 et de l'ensemble 4. Application à la purification du sodium utilisé pour le refroidissement des réacteurs nucléaires.
