Abstract

L'invention concerne un stabilisateur de forage destiné à être monté sur une masse-tige. Le stabilisateur comporte un manchon rigide dont le passage intérieur 9 est muni d'une nervure centrale 56. Une paire de bagues fendues de blocage 83, 74 est introduite dans chaque extrémité du manchon. Les bagues comportent des surfaces coniques coopérantes de sorte que, lorsqu'un capuchon d'extrémité 12 est vissé dans le manchon, les bagues sont serrées l'une contre l'autre, la bague extérieure étant repoussée contre la bague intérieure et serrée contre le manchon et la bague intérieure étant serrée contre la masse-tige. La bague extérieure comporte une nervure 82 et une rainure 84 qui coopèrent avec une rainure 20 et une nervure 22 du capuchon de sorte que lorsque le capuchon est dévissé la bague extérieure est automatiquement séparée de la bague intérieure. Application aux forages pétroliers.
