Abstract
Procédé réalisant un durcissement plus rapide des matériaux polymériques. Il consiste à accélérer la vitesse de durcissement en augmentant l'efficacité du transfert de chaleur entre un milieu gazeux chaud et une composition polymérique thermodurcissable, en mettant en contact une surface d'un corps de la composition polymérique thermodurcissable avec un courant de gaz chaud, porté à une température comprise entre environ 260 degrés C et environ 538 degrés C et sous une pression d'au moins 3,16 kg/cm**2 à 14,06 kg/cm**2 environ à l'intérieur d'une chambre de durcissement de forme allongée, et en faisant circuler ce courant de gaz chaud à une vitesse allant d'au moins 914 mètres par minute jusqu'à environ 3658 mètres par minute sur la surface du corps de la composition polymérique thermodurcissable, en contact direct avec cette surface, pendant un temps suffisant pour accroître la température du corps de la compositon polymérique thermodurcissable dans toute sa masse, jusqu'à ce qu'elle atteigne sa température de durcissement, et pour réaliser ainsi un durcissement important de la composition polymérique.
