L'appareil comporte une capacité 3 formée par une partie supérieure cylindrique 4 et une partie inférieure conique 5 séparées par une toile 6 autorisant le passage des larves de trichines qui sont recueillies dans un décanteur amovible 7. Application : dépistage de la trichinose des viandes de boucherie.
