Abstract
The pipe laying system includes forming a trench which is then filled with mud to prevent the sides from caving in, then after the pipes have been laid, the mud hardens to protect the pipes. Before the mud has hardened, the pipe sections are lowered into it, and the connections made while buried. The ends can be blocked before immersion, and removed afterwards, assisted by the presence of grout, which is removed after hardening. The pipes can be loaded with water which opposes the grout. The pipe sections can be connected directly or by using auxiliary connectors after the grout has hardened. The blocking members can be membranes attached by adhesive to the pipe ends.
