Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de variation de la tension d'une lampe à décharge dans le mercure. Il comprend l'alimentation de la lampe avec un courant d'intensite pratiquement fixe, la détection de la tension de la lampe et, lorsque celle-ci dépasse une valeur prédéterminée, la projection d'un courant de gaz destiné à provoquer la condensation de la vapeur de mercure sur les parois de la lampe. Application à la régulation du fonctionnement des lampes à vapeur de mercure.
