Détecteur de gaz catalytiquement inactif pour appareils de dosage de gaz. Il est constitué par une spirale 1 de platine ou d'alliage de platine entourée d'une masse d'oxyde métallique 2 à revêtement vitreux 3. Il est caractérisé en ce que le revêtement vitreux contient comme constituant principal un phosphate ou un borate et comme constituant secondaire un oxyde de métal alcalin, un hydroxyde de métal alcalin ou un oxyde de métal alcalinoterreux.
