Abstract

The humidifier for a box containing a large number of cigars is a receptacle (2) for water, shaped so that it can form a partition dividing part of the interior into partitions. The top and sides are hollow so that they may be filled with a porous material (14) such as cotton. The interior forms a compartment which is filled with water (12). The top incorporates a series of holes (16) so that the cotton filling can communicate with the atmosphere inside the box. Water can pass through a small hole (15) at the bottom into the hollow part to reach the cotton. The top also has two grooves (17) for a slider (18) to control the moisture passing through the holes (16) in the top.
