Abstract

Anode pour électrolyseur sans diaphragme utilisable pour la préparation des chlorates de métaux alcalins et alcalino-terreux constituée par une tige cylindrique électriquement conductrice et résistant à la corrosion de l'électrolyte, supportant au moyen de deux éléments de jonction, électriquement conducteurs et résistant à la corrosion de l'électrolyte, ayant une forme sensiblement en U dont les âmes sont soudées à ladite tige selon deux génératrices diamétralement opposées, deux plaques anodiques sensiblement parallèles soudées sur les ailes des U et dont les extrémités libres sont reliées entre elles par des moyens de jonction électriquement conducteurs et résistant à la corrosion de l'électrolyte, appropriés, les maintenant sensiblement parallèles tout en assurant une liaison semi-rigide, une des extrémités de ladite tige étant fermée par un bouchon en matériau résistant à la corrosion de l'électrolyte, l'autre extrémité de ladite tige comportant une partie assurant la fonction d'étanchéité constituée par un épaulement comportant un joint torique, résistant à la corrosion de l'électrolyte, réalisant l'étanchéité de la traversée de la paroi de la cuve d'électrolyse par ladite tige cylindrique. La présente invention permet de travailler à des intensités nominales de l'électrolyseur aussi élevées que 200 KA tout en ayant des chutes de tension très réduites, c'est-à-dire en réalisant de substantielles économies d'énergie.
