Abstract

The appts. comprises a type of turbine or centrifugal mixer, with two-opposed inlets sepd. by a perforated plate allowing the passage of the lighter fluid towards the compartment contg. the heavier fluid. This makes it possible to use the greatest depression zone to ensure good mixing. Variations to the appts. will be made depending on the physical state of the additive, i.e. whether it is liq. or gaseous. The appts. can be used for the deodorisation and purification by oxidation of animal wastes and waste water, for the incorporation of additives in the chemical industry, the prodn. of dyes, glues, paints and homogenised foodstuffs for human and animal consumption. The appts. conveys the additive progressively into the mixing chamber of the turbine.
