Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour la récupération de solvants au cours du durcissement de revêtements avec solvants. On introduit dans le four un gaz inerte au voisinage de l'entrée et de la sortie du four pour en exclure pratiquement l'oxygène tout en maintenant avec sécurité une pression partielle de vapeur de solvant dans le four au moins à 75 % de la limite inférieure explosive de cette vapeur dans l'air. On soutire l'atmosphère du four et on la fait passer dans un condensateur pour permettre la récupération d'au moins 85 % de vapeur de solvant sous forme de liquide. On effectue de préférence la condensation de la vapeur de solvant par échange de chaleur avec de l'azote liquide qui est efficace pour produire de l'azote gazeux que l'on peut utiliser pour exclure l'oxygène du four et le rendre inerte. Application : récupération de solvants lors de revêtement avec solvant avec économie de combustibles considérable.
