Abstract
The coupling is for joining the body (10) to the axles (8) of a two axled railway vehicle. It is of a pendicular type with a longitudinal rigidity much higher than the transverse rigidity. There is a mechanical system, consisting of a rod (7) fixing longitudinally the intermediate bearing of the body foot. There is a mounting and control for a viscous type damper (6) between the body and the axle. This damps out lateral body oscillations. The pendular system consists of double rings inclined at 30 deg. to the vertical. A stop limits body transverse movement.
