Abstract

Appareil pour surépaissir après surfloculation des boues déjà préépaissies, constitué par une cuve cylindrique comportant un arbre rotatif vertical, des pales et contrepales disposees suivant le rayon de la cuve et inclinées par rapport à l'horizontale, les pales étant fixées sur l'arbre rotatif de façon à former une hélice discontinue. Ce surfloculateur-épaississeur trouve des applications particulièrement intéressantes dans les installations de traitement des minerais et minéraux par voie humide.
