Abstract

Ce compas liquide est du type comprenant un support fixé au navire, une cuvette emplie de liquide et contenant la rose des vents et un repère de cap dont la position angulaire est réglabe. La cuvette du compas, réalisée sous forme de cuvettes sphérique 5, 6 avec montage à la Cardan 7, 8 de la rose des vents, est montée dans le support 2 solidaire du navire de telle manière que sa position angulaire soit réglable, et en ce que le repère de cap 13 soit placé dans la cuvette 5, 6 sur la monture à la Cardan 7, 8 de la rose des vents. Cet agencement permet une lecture pratiquement dépourvue de parallaxe au moyen d'un repère réglable.
