Abstract

The holder is used for a flat piezoelectric resonator. It has one or both its electrical connection pins or supports (2) provided with a slot (14) at its end into which the edge of the piezoelectric resonator (5) fits. The slot is formed by folding the flat ends of the pin into a U-shape. The advantage lies in providing a robust holder and electrical connection without stressing the resonator assembly. One edge of the assembly has the contact and support (4) extending all the way to the top and the opposite edge has the contact and support connected only to the lower corner.
