Séchoir caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une base et un boîtier, ce boîtier étant monté rotatif sur cette base, ce boîtier délimitant un compartiment pour loger un moteur, un ventilateur associé à ce moteur et un élément chauffant, un commutateur pour commander le moteur situé dans la partie inférieure du boîtier et des moyens sur la basé coopérant avec ce commutateur, de sorte que la position de ce commutateur est commandée par la rotation de la base par rapport au boîtier. c. L'invention s'applique aux séchoirs à cheveux, destinés à être posés sur une table.
