Abstract

Procédé continu de production de polymères greffés de polymères oxydables comme carcasse et de monomeres polymérisables par des radicaux pour la formation des chaînes latérales, caractérisé en ce qu'une masse fondue intensément mélangée du polymère de carcasse est mise en contact pendant au plus 10 minutes avec de l'oxygène ou des gaz contenant de l'oxygène sous une pression de 1 à 150 bars et à une température de 100 à 300 degrés C, immédiatement après quoi un ou plusieurs monomères polymérisables par des radicaux est ou sont ajouté(s) sous agitation intense en l'absence d'oxygène et de gaz contenant de l'oxygène, après sa polymérisation le polymère greffé formé étant isolé.
