Abstract
The oxygenator comprises a float which supports a cylinder of compressed oxygen with its outlet valve above the surface and within a protective, pref. transparent, cover. The cover also houses a reducing valve and pressure regulator as well as pressure gauge(s) as required. Hanging from the float, adjustable lengths suspension connectors, pref. chains, support an immersed sparge pipe with nozzles to diffuse oxygen supplied by a flexible delivery tube from the pressure regulator. Used for purificn. of water in lakes by injection of oxygen. The equipment is inexpensive, simple to use and to maintain, and is readily transportable. Ideal for temporary use in a number of scattered pools.
