Abstract

Liquid products stored in an underground cavity, in which an immersed pump cannot be used, are fed to and discharged from the cavity by pumps in, or connected to, a gallery which is in communication with the cavity. A gallery is hollowed out surrounding the projected cavity and is connected to the surface. The cavity is extended to communicate with the gallery. The gallery is connected to the surface by a well and the gallery is inclined slightly downwardly towards the well.
